Based on her recently published book, 'From Ruddington to Cromford', writer Deborah Elliott presents this fascinating free talk about her framework knitting ancestors.

Writer Deborah Elliott, who is passionate about her family history and helping others to unlock their own family stories, presents this fascinating talk about her framework knitting ancestors, the Price Family. A tale encapsulated in her book From Ruddington to Cromford, encompassing Nottinghamshire, the Peak District and even Florence Nightingale.

Deborah’s talk features local actors Sarah Burton and Leo Lanzoni, reading extracts from her book.

This free talk will last approximately 60 minutes in our Chapel Gallery followed by signing.

Seating will be limited and so pre-booking is strongly advised.
