Come and visit our family friendly museum telling the history of Teignmouth and Shaldon.

We have a range of telephones from different times.

You can play with the Punch and Judy in the Shore Gallery.

Our virtual reality experience simulates being in a kite balloon on a boat during World War 1.

This and another old slot machine from Teignmouth Pier are available for you to have a go on.

Come and have your photo taken using our photo board.

Teign Heritage Centre tells the story of the growth of Teignmouth & Shaldon from small fishing villages to fashionable holiday resorts, through the two world wars and up to the modern day. The museum is packed with information including historical artefacts, videos, recordings, objects you can interact with and a virtual reality experience. Our temporary exhibition for September is on the history of Teignmouth Rotary Club, who are celebrating their centenary.

One gallery is on the ground floor and the other is accessible via a lift. Only a few exhibits and an outdoor terrace are not wheelchair accessible.
