Free entry to Railway museums

The Engine Shed locomotive museum and Carriage Works carriage museum are waiving the usual entry costs and offering free entry.

Explore both museums to discover how the Railway developed during the Industrial Revolution and beyond - get close with our artefacts, sit in carriages and stand on the footplate of the Lord Mayor loco. Additionally, on September 12, between 13:00 and 16:00, folk group Silent Folk will be performing, and on September 13 the Austin 7 Club will be displaying some of their vehicles.
