Free Guided Tours: Townscape of the Talbot Trail
Heritage Open Days pop-up (Gainsborough Statue), Market Hill, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 2EA
Join Rachel Price, Sudbury Town Manager and the Sudbury TIC team on a guided tour of Sudbury's Talbot Trail.
The Talbot Trail is a series of 14 statues around Sudbury that depict various fascinating episodes in the town’s history over the centuries. The trail is an excellent way to navigate your way around Sudbury with many of the town's ancient natural, historical and architectural gems to enjoy on route. This is a great way to experience the trail for the first time, from The Peasants' Revolt to Dicken's 'The Rotten Borough', the fearsome Boudicea on route to Colchester to the lighter tales of William Kemp's jig and The Running Boy!
