Step inside the Western Art Print Room to discover a one-day display of artworks exploring the theme of the Goddess.

The works on paper collection of the Ashmolean's Western Art department is rich in images of 'goddesses', from representations of Venus, to Muses and Sibyls, female saints and the Virgin Mary, as well as portraits of real women who have inspired artists and poets across the ages. This one-day display of prints, drawings and watercolours will explore the theme of the Goddess.

Owing to the historical nature of the building, there is unfortunately no lift access to the Print Room. Visitors must be able to manage stairs, as this is the only available access.
