Building open for the public to enter and view the beautiful stained glass window. Refreshments also available for a small donation.

Wednesdays are outdoor market days in Tewkesbury (in Spring Gardens Car Park a couple of minutes walk away), so why not visit both!

Graham Court was originally opened in 1872 for use as Tewkesbury Rural Hospital and paid for through money raised by the people of the Town. The window was added later, as a memorial to Dr Daniel Devereux, the founding father and first Medical Officer of the Hospital. The money raised for this memorial was once again through public subscription.
When Tewkesbury Hospital moved to its present site on Barton Road, the building became the administrative centre for the Municipal Borough of Tewkesbury until the reorganisation of local government and the establishment of Tewkesbury Borough Council and Tewkesbury Town Council in the mid 1970’s.
Graham Court today is still serving the needs of the Town, providing sheltered housing for townspeople. Currently run by Bromford housing, it is an over 60s Retirement Scheme situated in the heart of Tewkesbury. The scheme is set in a Grade II listed building which with a clever conversion, now provides tenants with self-contained flats.
