A new & inspired local history exhibition following the Heritage Open Days theme of Architecture. In the function room of the Crown Public House, the presentation will explore some of the stories behind many of the village's buildings and structures

The exhibition will look at some of Great Ellingham's interesting past and present buildings and structures as well as the people connected to them. For example, the owners, occupiers, designers, architects as well as people who worked on the buildings.

Visitors will also have a chance to see displays of some amazing archaeological finds by Great Ellingham's very own 'Detecting Guy' Matt Hall.

Come along and see an impressive and eye-catching 'back drop' display of interesting images celebrating 'Great Ellingham's Past & Present'.

Information and help will be available to those visitors wishing to begin a family history journey or a house history. For our younger visitors, there will be table top activities.
