Great Yarmouth Minster Bell Tower

We are opening our bell tower for people to visit our ringing chamber. This involves a climb and needs a head for heights so we recommend that this is only undertaken by reasonably fit individuals.

The set of twelve bells in the Minster is considered to be one of the finest in East Anglia and this is a great opportunity to see the bell ropes and have a go at bell ringing which is an excellent physical and mental activity requiring excellent teamwork.

In addition, visit Great Yarmouth Local History & Archaeological Society History Fair (Sat 19 Sept only) with an amazing collection of local history, pictures, displays, maps and memorabilia.
