Guided tours of the Great Hall and grounds at Tyrwhitt Hall, dating back to at least the 15th century.

Historian Keith Miller guides these one-and-a-half hour tours of the Great Hall and grounds at Tyrwhitt Hall. Originally a manor house on a site dating back to Saxon times, the hall is named after the Tyrwhitt baronets who lived here in the 16th century. The present house dates back to at least the 15th century, with additions and alterations made in the 17th and 18th centuries and renovations to house and garden undertaken by the present owner in the 1980s. Sculptor, singer and choirmaster Philip Pape lived and worked here from 1960 to 1982 and is commemorated by a blue plaque outside.
