Accessibility details

The weather can be changeable and Alnwick is a historic town with narrow and uneven pavements that add to its character. So appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended. You may want to take a bottle of water and an umbrella. The walk is pushchair friendly and assistance may be available if we are notified of your requirements in advance. You will need to be responsible for your own safety, and supervise any children in your care.

Additional information

Refreshments are available before or after walk from a choice of locations in town centre. We recommend using long-stay parking in Greenwell Road or Howling Lane. Toilets and Baby changing facilities are available in Northumberland Hall, or in Greenwell Road.
