The Guildford Design Awards are run by the Guildford Society with support from the Guildford Borough with the aim of encouraging good design and recognising the achievements of clients, builders, architects and artists who are making a positive contribution to our future built heritage. This exhibition represents a sample of the projects selected for commendation or award in 2025. Some will become well known landmarks in the public realm and others offer a rare glimpse of hidden gems. We hope the exhibition will inspire interest and raise expectations for all development in the Borough.
G Live is a RIBA Award-winning entertainment and concert hall designed by Austin-Smith:Lord and opened in 2011. It replaced the old Guildford Civic Hall on the same site and has become a popular local venue for performing arts and culture. You will find the exhibition on the mezzanine floor.
