Celebrate Witney’s High Street at Witney Museum! Enjoy drawing, a family trail, sharing memories, and a guided walking tour. Free drop-in event on Saturday 13th September.

Discover how the town’s streets and buildings have changed through the years with creative activities for all ages.

Add Your Story: Share your memories of Witney’s shops, streets, and landmarks – your stories will help us build our growing oral history archive.
Draw the Past: Take part in a drop-in drawing session, capturing your favourite historic building or imagining what the High Street might look like 100 years from now!
Bring & Share: Bring along old photographs, objects, or memories linked to Witney’s High Street — we’d love to hear the personal stories behind them.
Family Trail: Take on our mini High Street History Trail around the museum — perfect for younger visitors to explore and spot architectural details.
Historic High Street Walking Tour: Join our guided walking tour to discover hidden stories behind Witney’s historic buildings. Tours will depart from the museum at 1100 and 1300, and are bookable on the day as space is limited!

Whether you're new to Witney or have known it all your life, come and explore how our town’s heart has changed — and share your vision for its future!

Entry to the museum and all activities are free.
