Discover pioneering history that influenced the world!

Expert exhibitors will be on-site, demonstrating their techniques and sharing insights into the rich traditions behind their crafts. A needle felting workshop will be available for you to try your hand at too.

Visitors will have the chance to explore the Steam A1 Trust workshop, where dedicated engineers and volunteers work tirelessly to restore and preserve historic steam engines. This behind-the-scenes look offers a rare glimpse into the world of railway heritage and mechanical craftsmanship.

The Curator's Tour and Curator's Top Objects workshop have both been made free of charge for all to enjoy.

The Hopetown Heritage Weekend is a celebration of skill, heritage, and community—an inspiring experience for families, hobbyists, and history enthusiasts alike.
