The original medieval building of Holy Trinity was replaced by a new church that begun in 1809 and finished in 1815, which incorporates the 14th-century central tower of the old church, re-cased in new masonry as a west tower. The church tower will be open, and you can go up past the ringing chamber and to the roof, where you can see views of the Ouse Valley Park. At 3pm, join us on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in pictures. We visit the important places of Jesus’ life: The Sea of Galilee and Capernaum, Nazareth, the Church of the Nativity at Bethlehem, the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and much more.
