A walk around Hyde United's ground and the surrounding area, looking at the origins of the club and also at the development of Hyde.

A walk around the Grange Road North and Lumn Road area of Hyde and more specifically Ewen Fields (Project Solar Stadium) where Hyde United, then called Hyde FC, first played in 1885. There will be a look at the club's history, including the famous 26-0 FA Cup defeat at the hands of Preston North End in 1887, plus a tour of the ground to look at its development over the last 140 years.

Meet in Hyde Leisure Pool car park, Walker Lane, at the Active Tameside sign.
