Ickworth Estate: Take Home Tote Bag Designing

Ickworth Estate, Horringer, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, IP29 5QE

  • 20 Sep 2025
  • In person
  • Pre-booking preferred

A chance to take home a bit of an Ickworth inspired memory – combining 3 great things at Ickworth: art, books and recycling. A chance to piece together your keepsake of your Heritage Open Days adventures.

Whether you wish to sew, glue, draw, paint or print on to our cotton tote bags, this is a chance to delve in to your creative side and make use of some preloved materials to capture your day at Ickworth. Why not pick up a book from our second-hand bookshop on your way out and make use of your new bag...

We will be providing fabric, glue, thread, and other decorations. If you feel inclined to get messy with some fabric paint or glue, then get on your crafting outfits that you don't mind getting messy.

👉 There are so many events happening at Ickworth across the festival; from behind the scenes inside tours, guided walks with our rangers and even the opportunity to ride in a Rickshaw! For more details Click here
