Ilkley to Shipley Glen Guided Walk

Up here on a clear day you can see for miles. Bring a packed lunch as we make our way through three of our National Nature Reserve areas: Ilkley Moor, on to Baildon Moor, and down into the glacial valley of Shipley Glen.
Meet at the Clarke Foley Community Hub in Ilkley town centre. It’s next to the main car park and a few minutes walk from the train station.
Our walk ends at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre where you can enjoy some light refreshments, and learn about how this nature reserve plays a key role in the fight against climate change.
This is a challenging walk due to the ascent and uneven terrain. We anticipate it will take around 4 hours, including a break. The start time is 10.30am in Ilkley. We are expecting to arrive at the final destination at Shipley Glen by 2.30pm.
The route starts at the Clarke Foley Community Hub, Cunliffe Rd, Ilkley LS29 9DZ.
The final destination is Bracken Hall Countryside Centre, Glen Road, Shipley BD17 5EA.
