Kelmscott Manor is a place where creativity and imagination thrive, and we encourage you to fully immerse yourself in the experience. Kelmscott Manor is situated in beautiful surrounding countryside, a true 'heaven on earth' as Morris called it.

Join us as part of Heritage Open Days on 12th September to explore the Manor for free. Pre-booking is not available and tickets will be allocated first-come, first serve on the day. You can enjoy the gardens and grounds for free without a ticket.
There will be lots of family-friendly activities happening on site throughout the day, so why not come and join us?

Getting here: Kelmscott Manor is located 3 miles from Lechlade. Signposted from both the A417 and the A4095, visitors can easily travel by car. Follow the brown heritage signs to our car park. Free Parking is situated next to St George’s Church in Kelmscott. For Sat Nav, the postcode for the car park is GL7 3HG. There is a short walk from the car park to the Manor (approximately 10 to 12 minutes). A free shuttle minibus will take visitors who are unable to make the walk to the Manor. The car park closes at 17:30.

Accessibility details

There is blue badge parking at on the right-hand side of the car park. It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from the car park to the Manor. Alternatively, our electric shuttle bus runs between the car park and the Manor throughout the day for anyone unable to make the walk. There is step-free access to the ground floor of the house, the gardens, tearoom and shop for all wheelchair users. We have one accessible toilet adjacent to the Entrance Barn.
