A vintage bus will be parked on the square so visitors can recall the smell of the old buses when you could jump on and off.
The Naval Children's Charity - The Naval Children’s Charity has been helping Naval Children since 1825. They are based in Portsmouth and help Naval families and children all around the UK and the Commonwealth. The Eastern region of the charity will have a stall on the South Quay.
The Nelson Society is a registered charity with a worldwide membership. As well as assisting in various historic projects and charitable activities, the society publishes a quarterly annual journal, The Nelson Dispatch, for its members. They also hold regular meetings, visits and talks throughout the year. Volunteer-run, with no headquarters or paid staff, it is managed by an elected committee who hold meetings throughout the year and an AGM on Trafalgar Day (21st October) of each year. Amongst its members are descendants of Nelson and of those who fought with him. Corporate members include towns, libraries, museums and many other associated and interested organizations. We welcome new members who share an interest in this most important figure in British history.
