Join us for free at Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills on first Friday of Heritage Open Days!

This year we are displaying models by students from the Notre Dam School architecture course for the Friday 12, Saturday 13, and Sunday 14 September.

Enjoy our exhibitions: 'Engineery' featuring the wonders of engineering; and stories from behind the camera in new exhibition Reel-ise curated with members of the local community. We will also be running our historic Spinning Mule machine at regular intervals during the Friday.

Enjoy our usual offer including one of the smallest cinemas in Leeds, all within what was once the world's largest woollen mill!

Leeds Industrial Museum is located approx. 1 mile from Leeds City Centre. A car park is available just off Canal Road. It is a short walk from the car park to the museum entrance.

Accessibility details

Leeds Industrial Museum is located inside a Georgian woollen mill. The locomotive shed and grounds remain closed due to building works - expected to open later 2025.
