Leicester Photographic Archive Pop Up Exhibition
The Guildhall, Guildhall Lane, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE1 5FQ
This year we will be hosting a pair of exhibitions. One as part of Leicester Guildhall’s centenary as a museum celebrating the past 100 years through pictures and the second on the impact of the City Challenge, the £37.5 million project that changed the face of the city throughout the 1990s. Explore some of the highlights of Leicester City Council’s photographic archive, see the themed exhibitions created by the volunteers. Speak to the volunteers who work on the archive and see if you can help identify some of the mystery pictures and share your memories.
