Explore award-winning woodland gardens, towering champion trees, the Rhododendron Loderi National Collection, seven tranquil lakes, wild wallabies, expansive deer park, and more.

Step into a magical world in miniature at the “Beyond the Dolls’ House” exhibition. This captivating display brings an Edwardian country estate to life – sparking children’s curiosity and transporting adults to a world of historic charm.

Explore a captivating collection of over 150 local and international sculptures, showcased both within the gardens and in the historic Leonardslee House.

Tickets must be pre-booked via the provided link to receive free admission to the gardens. FREE Heritage Open Day tickets will not be available on-site on the day. Tickets are only valid for the date selected at the time of booking. Please note that the parking charge still applies. Accessibility details

Many of our pathways throughout the gardens are flat but fall away steeply in places. The lower half of the gardens should be avoided by wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility or limited fitness. The return journey is uphill, and although there are benches throughout the estate, it requires a good level of fitness and mobility to walk back to the reception and car park.
