Lindholme Hall Heritage Day
Lindholme Hall, Lindholme Bank Road, Hatfield Woodhouse, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN7 6DT
The Lindholme Hall Heritage Day is a wonderful opportunity to explore the spiritual heritage and unique landscape of the Estate. There will be three main events on the day (detailed below), and the cafe will be open for refreshments all day.
9–5pm: Kora Walk – Circumambulating Lindholme Island.
Kora is to walk mindfully around a spiritual object; engaging in positive wishes of kindness towards others. We have koras of various lengths 100 yards – 3 miles! Kora is a wonderful way of getting to know this special site. You can arrive at any time between 9 am and 5 pm.
11am: The Sacred Heritage of Lindholme Island
From the discovery of a neolithic trackway to the conservation of rare species on the Lindholme Old Moor, this talk will be a special opportunity to learn about the Heritage of this sacred site from local historian and conservationist, Mick Oliver.
2pm: The Kinship of Faiths – a gathering of Doncaster’s plurality of Faiths to celebrate our similarities and appreciate our differences.
Please join us for all or part of the day!
