This year Liskeard Market Makers are proud to be returning to Boost House, the building designed by Henry Rice for the headquarters of the East Cornwall Bank in 1851. The ground floor provides a perfect setting for the Market Makers both to show off their wares and to demonstrate how they are created. The aim is to align with this year’s Open Heritage Theme of which spotlights ordinary lives and their trades and to give a flavour of the work that goes into the production of goods by and for ordinary people in a non factory setting.
