Liskeard Unlocked - Market Makers Open Studio

Boost House, The Parade, Liskeard, Cornwall, PL14 6AH

  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

Beautiful arts and crafts open studios exhibition and sale in breath-taking town centre building of architectural significance for Liskeard.

This year Liskeard Market Makers are very excited to be bringing their annual arts and crafts exhibition and sale into the town centre - and to bring with it an opportunity to see inside a building rich in community history and architectural features. The building, Boost House (formerly Barclays Bank), was designed as a bank by Henry Rice in 1851.

This is a rare opportunity to combine a visit to a building of real architectural significance for Liskeard with an opportunity to peruse the beautifully crafted pieces from our Market Makers. Liskeard Market Makers is a group of talented local artists who came together post-pandemic to develop and showcase the arts and crafts skills here in Liskeard. Much of our exhibition this year will reflect the World Heritage ‘architecture’ theme too.
