Lowestoft Town Hall Tour
Lowestoft Town Hall, High Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR32 1HU
A unique opportunity to witness the early stages of the extensive restoration project to bring this historic building back into community use. A tour of accessible areas of the building, highlighting heritage features and the work being undertaken to restore them. Lead by the main building contractor and Heritage Project team members. Safety clothing will be provided and must be worn on site. Flat soled shoes are a must also. Access to first floor is by stairs only.
The Lowestoft Town Hall Project is a Lowestoft Town Council initiative supported by National Lottery players via The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and Historic England. Other significant funders for the regeneration include Towns Fund and East Suffolk Council.
