Intertwining our textile heritage, medieval history, and contemporary creative energy, Macclesfield and The Bayeux is an exhibition centering our monumental community artwork, The Macclesfield History Tapestry.
Alongside the voices of some of the 100 participants who stitched this work to life, you will find stories of the people, buildings, and landscape from almost 900 years of our town's history.
This display also features the Story of the Bayeux, an exhibition provided by the British Museum, including audio-visual and interactive elements.
