Marriage Through the Ages Celebrating 150 Years of the Mother's Union Join us at St Mary's Church, Lutterworth on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September for a fascinating journey through the history of marriage as we celebrate the 150th anniversary

Discover a beautiful exhibition featuring wedding dresses, photographs, memorabilia, keepsakes and accessories spanning the generations, celebrating how wedding traditions, fashions and family life have evolved through the years. Whether you're reminiscing about your own special day, researching local history, or simply love vintage fashion and heritage, there will be something to enjoy.

The exhibition is held at St Mary's Church in Lutterworth, which has stood since 1215 and has played a part in world history. This church was the workplace of famous bible translator John Wycliffe and also Frank Whittle who designed the jet engine!

10.00am – 4.00pm

From 2.00pm, why not stay and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea served in the church?

Come and celebrate 150 years of the Mother's Union and explore the stories, traditions and memories that have shaped marriages in our community.
