Join us at Martello Tower this September to uncover the history behind usually closed doors and for a day of family fun.

**The event timings have been extended from 10.15am-3pm due to high demand, for the tower tours, please arrive at your allotted slot times that you booked.**

Guided tours of the Tower (fully booked) and talks on the ROC Bunker, see down the hatch!
"Architectural theme" Arts and crafts activities with a local architect.
Suffolk Archives will be outside with their event trailer where they will welcome people to come forward with their memories and stories of the site to help form part of our interpretation in the future. They will also provide some family fun craft activities.
Take part in our Heritage treasure trail and win a small prize.

Apologies, this site is for the hardier visitor only. Very limited accessibility. The only entrance and exit is via a steep staircase. Apologies there is no lift. No ground floor entrance. Apologies there is no toilet on site - but there are public toilets approx 3 - 4 minute walk away. Sorry no dogs inside the Tower, other than assistance dogs.

The site is not usually open to the public but is open a handful of times for ad-hoc events each year.
