Mindful Art in the Park – Memories of Victoria Park

Through simple mindful art activities, participants will be invited to reflect on what Victoria Park means to them, share memories of time spent there, and respond creatively to the park’s history, people and changing landscape.

Join Think Big Do Bigger CIC for a relaxed, creative drop-in session in Victoria Park, inspired by the memories, stories and heritage of the park itself.
No art experience is needed and there is no pressure to “get it right”. We’ll provide a range of simple creative activities suitable for all ages, with space to doodle, draw, write or simply pause and reflect.
The session will also help gather stories and ideas that may contribute to future creative projects celebrating Victoria Park and its heritage.
Drop in anytime during the session. Free to attend - adults only - Drop in 11:30-1:30pm Wednesday 16th September.

Directions:
Located in the centre of Victoria Park. The new community building is fully at ground level, with a large front door that can be opened into a double fold configuration. The building features hard surface flooring and a small kitchenette with sinks at both high and low levels. Accessibility may vary depending on the event or set up arranged by hirers, so please check in advance if you have specific accessibility needs.
