Explore the MINI plant’s museum and heritage area, showcasing cars through the decades, and celebrating the 25th anniversary of the BMW Group built MINI.

Plant Oxford is the heart of MINI. It’s where all the parts come together to create our iconic MINI models, the result of the skilled work of our dedicated team. As the largest and oldest of our UK manufacturing facilities, Plant Oxford boasts over 113 years of automotive history.
2026 marks a major milestone for MINI as the iconic brand celebrates 25 years since production of the modern MINI began under BMW Group - a quarter century defined by innovation, design and unmistakable British spirit.

In addition to our bookable plant tours, we have a small on-site museum in one of the original site buildings. Here, you can get up close with a variety of models from the Bullnose Morris to the most recent MINI models. This museum will be open to all as part of the upcoming Oxford Open Doors event.
