The Chapel and grounds will be open from 10.30.
Artefacts and documents from the Mount Zion collection, pertinent to Methodists in Calderdale will be on display, as will those which give an insight into the lives of ordinary people across the borough, at work, worship and play.
Tea, coffee and cake will be available in the sexton's cottage.
A free talk by President of Halifax Antiquarians, David Glover, in the Chapel at 15.30.

From Miriam Lightowler the first lady Mayor of Halifax, to Jocelyn Horner, sculptor and friend of Henry Moore; Elsie Whiteley, who began stitching as a teenager and went on to build an amazing blouse-making business in Halifax; Laura Mitchell, a dedicated public servant who worked tirelessly for the Health Service, and Pearl Paling, dance teacher extraordinare, who brought some famous 1960s bands to perform in Halifax. All ordinary women who lived extraordinary lives.

Access to the Chapel and grounds is via a ramp from the road. Toilet facilities are on the ground floor, but not fully accessible to wheelchair users. Weather permitting, car parking will be available in the field to the rear of the chapel.
