Housed in the historical location of a former transhipment dock including buildings that are Grade II listed dating back to 1801.

Housed in the historical location of a former transhipment dock including buildings that are Grade II listed dating back to 1801. The original buildings by Thomas Telford sit alongside later railway influenced warehouses built when a Railway Company took control of the Canal Company which subsequently closed in 1922.

Activities include costumed guided tours, engine demos, children’s trail.
