Walk in the footsteps of an 1850s visitor to Biddulph Grange Garden and explore the Bateman Walk into the adjacent churchyard and for a longer walk go through the long walk gates and onto the now Biddulph Grange Country Park .

With thanks to Biddulph Rotary, Biddulph Town Council, St Lawrence Church and SWT the team at Biddulph Grange Garden are opening the gates so that visitors have the freedom to explore James Bateman's estate , complete the mile walk to the cave, wander Lime Avenue to the adjacent St Lawrence church where Bateman preached or enter the garden from the adjacent churchyard and on to what is now Biddulph Grange Country Park managed by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.

10am - 5pm (Bateman walk and country park 11am - 4pm)

There are over 400 steps around the garden, many areas of the garden including access to the Chinese garden and the long walk to the Country Park can only be accessed via steps.

Assistance dogs only allowed in the garden.
