Our two boat sheds, one with a slipway, are the last buildings of this type between Berwick on Tweed and Whitby and represent a flavour of this regions incredible maritime history and heritage.
We have historically valuable wooden boat building and repair facilities on site and riverside for viewing some of our boats.
Please be aware that this is a vibrant volunteer working area where you can both view from the cafe and even take part in some tasks; health and safety considerations being of upmost importance of course.
We also have paintings and other items on view, some are for sale.
