The old Deepdale Railway line has lain derelict for 40 years. It includes the Miley Tunnel which runs under the City of Preston for 880 yards.

Meet at the City End of the line. The old Maudland Bank Railway Station - Roeburn Hall of Lancashire University has been built on the site.
The tour will take you under City and across a piece of the Lancaster Canal which is located under the railway line.
You will then emerge into a woodland corridor and walk along the disused line - now cleared of rubbish. A team of over 160 volunteers have worked for 18 months clearing over 200 tonnes of fly tipped rubbish.
Tour will conclude at Skeffington Road.
