A chance to visit Sheffield's Edwardian Post Office, now the home of the Sheffield Creative Industries Institute at Sheffield Hallam University. Tour the city's original sorting office, telephone exchange and main post office counter.

This tour will take visitors around the Old Head Post Office building, showing how the original post office has been converted into art and design studios for Sheffield Hallam University.

Visitors will see the lower ground floors where mail and parcels were sorted, now workshops; the old night safe, now a photography studio; and rooms which once housed telegraph equipment; the telephone exchange and the grand ‘Postmasters office’.

Guided tours only, must be booked due to limited numbers.
