Join us at the Old Road Campus Research Building to learn about the biomedical research done at Oxford University where we will have activities, games and tours to display our science!

Join us at the Old Road Campus Research Building (ORCRB) to explore some of the biomedical research taking place at the University of Oxford!

Institutes and departments across the Old Road Campus will be at the ORCRB to showcase their research - ranging from cancer and vaccines to surgical sciences. You’ll find drop in activity stalls throughout the ORCRB atrium, where researchers will be on hand to talk about their work and demonstrate their science.

Guided tours of selected labs and facilities will be available to book on the day on a first come, first served basis. All tours start and finish in the atrium.

Accessibility details

The atrium is fully accessible, with automatic doors and step free access. An accessible toilet is available off the atrium. Tours are accessible by lift, though some instrument rooms are small and may have limited access.

Additional information

Tours: a maximum of 8 per tour. Children’s activities available - exact activities will vary by participating department but include colouring, craft activities, games and more. Refreshments for sale / donations.
