Our Land Flows...from Peat to Pipe: Exploring Watery Connections in Plymouth

Join us for a guided walk and talk exploring water in the City of Plymouth and how it links back to Dartmoor, both historically and today. We’ll be joined by experts who will share their knowledge.

We’ll meet near Drake’s Reservoir at the University of Plymouth at 10am. The walk will be gentle, and we aim to be as accessible as possible.

Stephen Luscombe, Chair of The Historical Association - Plymouth Branch, will lead our guided walk.

The walk will take place 10am - 12 noon, we will then head to the Sustainability Hub, University of Plymouth for tea & cake, creative activities and the chance to share our learning.

If you are unable to join us for the walk then come along to the Sustainability Hub from 12 noon - 2pm, everyone welcome to join us here too.

The walk will be at a gentle pace covering ~2.7km, using pavements and pedestrian crossings.
If the full walk is too much for you, you can leave early and go back to the Sustainability Hub and wait for us there.

In the afternoon at the Sustainability Hub, Stephen will give an illustrated talk of his guided walk for those unable to join us in the morning.
