Oxton Guided History Walk - West
Rose Mount/Village Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH43 5SF
A walk to the oldest building in Oxton ,then to the parish church, on past a pub and along a former ropewalk. We take in a number of blue plaques as well as some primitive art before returning past some Arts and Crafts houses. With stories of some notable residents and events along the way.
This West walk starts and finishes at the post box at the centre of the village,
at the junction of Village Road and Rose Mount, CH43 5SF

Limited Disabled Access most of the walk is on pavements some of which
are very narrow and uneven with roads and kerbs to negotiate.
