Drawing on his latest book, ‘Quirky Norwich’, Pete Goodrum gives us a glimpse of some of the renegades, rebels, clowns, crooks and characters who, by their own quirkiness, have helped define Norwich as an unusual and interesting city.

Pete has had a successful career in advertising working with national and international brands. As a Norwich man born and bred he also has a keen interest in his own city’s history. And he’s written extensively about it.

With a dozen books to his name Pete is also a much in demand public speaker.

Pete says ‘The dictionary definition of the adjective ‘quirky’ is that it describes someone or something as unusual in an interesting and attractive way. I think, on that basis, Norwich has a decidedly quirky history. Let me introduce you to some of the people who are such an important part of that past’.
