Visit the site of a Romano-Celtic Temple on a hill near Weymouth.

Spend an hour or so, for a hopeful Equinox Sunset exploring and pondering the Romano-Celtic Temple remains at Jordan Hill. There is a lot more to think about here than just low ruins of an ancient sacred site. The tour will take in the ruins, a walk across the fields to consider the site of the nearby Roman Villa, the temple's history, context, archaeology, and to ask and explore the question "Why is the Temple situated here?" Which hopefully will be finished with a visible sunset soon after 19:00. Bring cameras, dress appropriately for the weather at an exposed coast and hilltop location.
