  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking required

Join us on a guided walk through the fascinating financial past of Leeds. Learn about the railway boom, early Leeds stockbrokers and pioneering financial figures, discovering the long-lost Leeds Stock Exchange.

As part of the firm's 150th anniversary, Redmayne Bentley invite you to join a special history walk through Leeds. Led by Leeds historian Clifford Stead, the walk will take you from the railway boom of the 1800s to the 1970s, when the Leeds Stock Exchange closed its doors. Founded here in 1875, Redmayne Bentley has been part of the city’s financial story for generations.

We’ll start and finish at the newly opened Wagon Hoist Mini Museum, where the firm will also be showcasing historic ledgers and unique artefacts, carefully preserved by the firm's founder, John Redmayne.
