Ramsey Abbey Walled Kitchen Garden

Visit a typical Victorian Walled Garden which has been restored by volunteers. The 1 acre garden has plantings of vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbaceous borders, salvia borders, dahlia bed and herb garden. We have a 30m long Victorian style greenhouse. The garden has an apple tunnel planted with 20 varieties of locally bred apples. We will have a display detailing history of the local apple varieties .as well as a display illustrating life working in a Victorian Walled Garden.

Disabled parking at Ramsey Rural Museum. Fully accessible toilets at Ramsey Rural Museum. Step up for toilet garden in Walled Garden, so not fully accessible. Inside the garden is wheelchair accessible but the flat path from the car parking is about 400m.
