Rhythm Disrupts the Archive Film Screening and Discusssion at the Peace Church

This screening was specially programmed by BFMAF with filmmaker and writer Val Phoenix. Join Val to watch and discuss a selection of films on feminist diy punk. Val Phoenix documented queer and feminist punk in both the US and UK throughout the 1990’s and looked back at first wave punk, as well, interviewing everyone from The Slits’ Viv Albertine to Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill.
The programme will include films by Val Phoenix, Lucy Thane and Jill Reiter.
