The Guitar Orchestra is a intergenerational ensemble that has gathered weekly at St Aidan’s Hall over the past 6 months to create this unique durational performance, led by local musician and composer Chris Egon Searle. ‘Competing Squares’ blends acoustic guitars with modular synthesiser to create an immersive soundscape. Throughout the performance, the Orchestra will continuously shift and transform, with an evolving visual score. Set within the distinctive atmosphere of the Peace Church, this ambient performance responds to the space.
The Guitar Orchestra is supported by Create Berwick and Northumberland County Council.
