Ripon Civic Society Watery Walk
Tesco car park, Halls Of Ripon, 20 Fishergate, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 1DY
The walk will be led by Richard Taylor and David Winpenny with the support of Neill Clayton, the walk will take us down through the Spa Gardens to St Wilfrid's Well then on to High Cleugh and down the River Skell to the canal basin and finishing at Alma Bridge.
The walk is about a mile and a half on mostly level paths but there are some steps to negotiate. Meet in the Tesco Car Park beside the Well in the yard of Sustain at the rear of Halls of Ripon. Duration: We’ve allowed an hour and half for the 1.5 mile route. Opportunities to break off earlier if people need to.
