This is a walk around Rock Park – highlighting its social history and significance. The buildings are Grade 2 Listed and the New Ferry – Rock Ferry coast is designated an SSSI (Site of Specific Scientific Interest). The Estate was laid out by Joseph Bennison in 1837 & now comprises 36 houses of different styles. Also surviving are the old Rock Ferry pier and the listed stone slipway.

This is a guided walk & not suitable for most children under 14 years of age – but please make contact if you have any specific queries in relation to this.

The walk starts on an incline but is flat beyond this. All is on a ‘paved’ roadway.

Refreshments can be purchased locally at the end of the walk.
