Closed for worship since 2007, the church is one of Leeds Civic Trust's 'At Risk' buildings in the city. Learn about the dedicated work being undertaken by The Friends of St John's who will be in the North Churchyard for one of their open days. They will be happy to show you some important and interesting graves and chat about the history of the church. There will be tours of the North Churchyard at 11.00 and 14.00.

There are a few car park spaces at the bottom of the drive but unfortunately the path up to the Churchyard is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Additional information
Parking available on Wetherby Road and the old swimming pool site car park where charges now apply. Please respect the needs of local residents when parking. Tea, coffee and cake will be available - donations welcome. If you enjoy gardening please feel free to bring along some tools (or borrow those belonging to the Friends) and enjoy a bit of ground maintenance - this activity is not obligatory! The nearest toilets are at the Lakeside Cafe in the Park.
