• Take the opportunity to look over our display of artefacts which include historical dental equipment and a range of animal skulls and teeth.
• In our virtual reality lab, you can experience cutting-edge dental training on simulators that allow you to feel virtual objects. Examples start with basic manual dexterity practice and lead up to removing tartar and administering injections (not available to under 16s).
• In our Phantom Head lab, you can have first-hand experience of the student journey from Year 1 to 5.
• A visit to our Prosthetics Lab is the perfect opportunity to see where our undergraduate students and dental surgeons learn how dental prostheses are constructed to a high standard using traditional and modern techniques using modern materials to ensure patients are receiving the best treatment to improve quality of life.
• Dr Rae Gillibrand will present a talk on the history of dentures. From ancient innovations to modern marvels, see how see how far we’ve come in the quest for the perfect smile! Perfect for dental professionals, history buffs, and curious minds.
• Join some of our students in colouring, games and activities!

The closest facilities we have for parking is The Edge car park and the Multi-Storey car park which can be found in the orange zone – more details can be found in the public parking section via this link here - https://estates.leeds.ac.uk/our-services/car-parking/visitor-parking/#visitor-info Payment for parking should be made before exit at any of the cashless pay machines. Entrance to the School of Dentistry can be accessed via the Worsley Building on Clarendon Way. Staff will be able to greet you on your arrival (you will not be able to enter via the dental hospital).
